German pet food manufacturer Josera celebrated its topping-out ceremony in Nowy Tomysl, Poland, on 4 June. Construction of the new dry pet food plant - modelled on the German plant at the company's headquarters in Kleinheubach - began in January 2023. Andrzej Wilko¨˝ski, District Administrator of Nowy Tomysl, and Marcin Brambor, Mayor of Nowy Tomysl, also took part in the ceremony.
In line with the company's sustainability strategy, the plant, which is currently under construction, will be an energy-efficient plant. Heat, electricity and cooling will be generated in an integrated process.
Josera's sixth production plant to date is scheduled for completion in 2025. The company plans to hire almost 100 new employees. The first new staff members are already in the introductory phase, but most of them will be recruited in the coming months. "Employees can count on a very friendly atmosphere and job stability in an international, fast-growing company," said Josera.
